Etsy Interior Design Team

I'm a new member of an Etsy Team that showcases shops that sell interior design items See the blog *HERE*. With four kids, I'm afraid I will not be a prized asset to the team, but it's nice to be part of it just the same.

Filling a void
The thing about an Etsy Shop is you never know when a sale will be made. Sunday evening I came home to find that five of my stamps had been scooped up! Each and every sale is a thrill, but the notes of encouragement that come with them are often worth far more...Friday, February 29, 2008
Spring Craft Fair

I've been invited to apply for a spot at a BIG craft fair in May. Despite my humble successes at the Christmas shows I attended, I had fun and would love to do it again. This, show, however, has so many hurtles to jump over:
*New baby means limited time to stockpile pieces.
*Limited financial resources means less money available to decorate and organize an appealing booth. My newest items would need shelving and fancy lighting etc.
*The booth costs $125!!! Ouch. I would need to sell a few of my lanterns. Or a bunch of my smaller items.
Craft.Craft.Craft.
I have until April to decide...

Business Cards

I have been handing out too many handmade business cards lately: white paper print-out logos glued to unevenly cut cardboard rectangles, with a hand written email address on the back. Charming, but. . . I think it's time for an upgrade. Here are a few I have whipped up thus far, yes, in order of personal preference:
A. Fairy Lantern Business Card. The image is of my favourite lantern, and the colours make me happy.
B. Lily Square Business Card. One of my ink prints in miniature. Such a sharp looking card. No colour, just design.
C.Yellow Poppy Business Card. Happy colours, but it's not my image. Just one off the internet. Very pretty, but not a sample of my own work.
D. Lily Circle Business Card. My own ink print, but soooo girly. Different font too.
There is always the option of printing a few styles and handing them out where they best suit. And I have endless possibilities to try yet, but I wanted to share my business card debut.
